Hunter Douglas PowerView® Pebble Remote (Generation 1 and Generation 2)

Basic Programming Steps

Prepare
- Make sure your shade is powered on (battery or plugged in) and working.
- Have a ladder ready if the shade is high up.
- Locate the small manual control button on the shade’s headrail (Right side)

Put the Remote into Programming Mode
- Press and hold the STOP button (center button) on your remote.
- Keep holding until the lights on the remote start blinking (about 6 seconds).
- Release the button. The remote is now in programming mode.

Select the Group/Channel
- Press and release the number button (1–6) on the remote that you want this shade to be assigned to.
- That number should flash/confirm.

Program the Shade (Do this quickly — within 5–10 seconds)
- Press and hold the manual button on the shade’s headrail.
- While holding it, press and release the UP/Open button on the remote.
- The shade should jog (a small movement) to confirm it has been programmed.
- Release the manual button on the shade.

Test It
- Press the group number you assigned.
- Use the Up/Down/Stop buttons to operate the shade. It should respond.
Tip: Repeat these steps for each shade, assigning them to the same group if you want them to operate together.
Exit Programming Mode
- Press and hold the STOP button again until the lights stop blinking.
Common Issues & Fixes
- No response? Make sure you’re aiming the remote at the shade’s sensor eye during programming. Try again — timing is important.
- Reset the remote (if needed): Use a paperclip to press the small recessed reset button on the back of the remote briefly.
- Shade not moving properly? First reset the shade’s limits by holding the manual button on the headrail for 6–10 seconds until it moves on its own.
